  luminance shift on transitions in HD footage

  Ok…FCP HD, Kona 2 720×1280…source material Aja Kona 10 bit RGB 720 1280 30fps…
  So…any transition: dissolve, fade etc results in a luminance shift in the picture for the duration of the transition. Rendered or unrendered doesn’t matter.
  I have heard tell that this is an issue with Quicktime and the way it handles HD. Does anyone know?

  Did you set your timeline to render in RGB?

  apple-zero for sequence settings and find the always render in RGB radio button.
