Easist way to view Final Cut Pro 5 video Filters & Transitions?
What is the easiest way to view what the video filters and transitions in Final Cut Pro 5 look like without applying them, just so you can figure out which filter or transition that may be best for a give area in the sequence. Any and all reply’s are appreciated in advance.

Hey Sebastian,
The manual has some of that, but you’re probably right. Not nearly enough visual info about what each effect does. Each effect can look wildly different when you change its parameters. Moreover, combinations of filters bring other results. So there is no easy way to show you the thousands of combinations of effects you can squeeze out of FCP.If you want a basic representative of each filter though, you’ll have to do that on your own. Make a sequence and place a filter on to each clip. Make a separate sequence for your transitions.

This is a funny question, kinda like asking what things taste like! You need to get yourself some free time to try them out, as Kevin suggests. And I would buy his book, if not take his master class. The book is great.
