October 13, 2005 at 9:00 amYou don’t de-interlace a graphic from photoshop for an FCP project. You de-interlace video stills going to photoshop.
You probably don’t have your Motion filter setting turned to high quality. System Settings > Video Processing > Motion Filter, set this to High.
Or you’re working in a DV timeline and the DV compression is affecting your graphic. the only way to have pristine graphics is to work in an Uncompressed timeline.

sould i start a new sequence and paste all the rush on it, because i heard it is not good to change the system setting while a project is open. -

Never heard that one before.
what type of sequence are you working with and how are you viewing the timeline?

October 13, 2005 at 10:17 am[nicolas] “timeline unlimited

i work in dv pal.”DV is most likely your problem. it’s a compressed codec that does not do good things to graphics. The “timeline unlimited” is just your RT setting. DV is the codec.
[nicolas] “my graphics appear pixelised when i press read it on FCP”
Again, how are you viewing this? On a computer screen? FCP degrades image quality of the viewer and canvas. You have to view any project on an external monitor to see the true quality.
[nicolas] “also you are telling me that i should not de interlaced my psd graphics when i export it?”
There’s no reason to de-interlace a graphic for playback in a DV timeline.
