  Are there any 3rd party plugs for motion tracking?

  Hi there:

  Struggling along with the AE motion tracker. As great as it is, I’m wondering if there are any third party plugs that do the same thing or have more features.

  Can you suggest any?

  This is a roto plug in but also has a tracker

  This is a standalone app but export data to AE

  Brilliant stuff – so should that Silouette plugin enable you to roto and track in AE7.0 as well as you can in Combustion?

  That’d be brilliant if so, I HATE the combustion UI and workflow!! Silouette roto looks to have proper B-splines and variable edge blurs..in AE…GOOD STUFF!

  Well, I believe you can download it and run it in demo mode so that you can find out for yourself.

  Yes, you can track and roto (and paint!) inside AE using an interface designed specifically for such things. You can export your roto shapes and trackers back into AE to use natively.
