sorry but i need to get this answered or my head will explode !
i just asked this earlier but i think i explained it wrong so here it goes again…
i just got a new 2.7 dual g-5…
hooked it all up
loaded up my fcp 4.5…but the new system comes with tiger and quicktime pro 7
so my old qtp code will not work !when i go to the download page it…it says the revert back to 6.52 qt will only work on panther !
so now what do i do ?

I stand corrected, but I believe you have to pay the $30 QT7PRo registration fee in order to the full functionality of QTPro7
I recall a lot of people were upset about that at the FCP5 & Tiger was released.

It’s either pay $30 for thew new QT7Pro License or pay for the upgrade to FCP5. QT7 is considerably cheaper.

FCP 5 automatically upgrades you to QT Pro when you install it so Apple was assuming most folks would move to FCP 5 when switching to Tiger. That’s what I did as I found FCP 4.5 much more stable running 10.3.8 than running on Tiger.
If you want to run FCP 4.5 on Tiger, then you will need to pay the $30 to unlock QT Pro.
