client wants 7 minute video as a file for ROXIE
Posted by Doggies on October 2, 2005 at 2:09 amMy client wants his completed project as a file that he can import into his “Roxie” and cut with other footage. It needs to be of the highest quality but something that fits on a dvd.
Any thoughts on what export settings I should use.

Ask your client. The software should list what types of files it can import and what quality it can handle. I’m guessing a Quicktime DV or it may need to be an .avi file.

He said he wants an MPEG –
Does that sound right? I have never thought of mpeg as high quality. This needs to be high quality ’cause it will be playing on a dozen 24 inch plasma monitors at the Mr. Olympia.
MPEG ?

Roxio is not editing software. They make CD / DVD Burning software, unless they make something simple for the PC side to edit.
Make a High Quality MPEG-2 in Compressor as I’m assuming he’s going to DVD.
