Tiff files are aliased / FCP Chroma Keyer not working.
I just recently open a project and the tiff files I use for graphic overlays now look jaggy. I’ve been using tiff over psd with excellent results for years. It seems that over the last update I’ve noticed that a tiff file looks terrible. This is not only for graphics but pictures too. Weird thing. When I import the tiff file into live type my alias problem goes away. Strange. I love live type and use it more and more but much of my work still comes in as a tiff. Any thoughts?
Choma key- edited a commercial and need to key out a woman. Edited the spot a couple months ago with pleasing keyer results. I went to update the ad and the chroma key has a dark stroke around it. The feathering of the filter has no effect. I can’t figure it out. The project was updated from 4.5 to 5 and I thought that the key filter might be different so I deleted them and tryed again and still the same black stroke non feathering look.
I also had some hard crashes. Tinted screen of death type.
Any thoughts?

Try searching the forum for JAGGIES or such, we’ve been seeing this issue for months now. It seems to be related to the new render settings but I cannot recall the precise answer.
Your chromakey and crashing issues could be caused by way too many possibilities, sorry. You can search for CRASHES and KERNEL but there are no universla solutions.
