When I used Final Cut Pro HD there was a way to capture audio as Stereo vs Mono, I do not see that option in Final Cut Pro 5. I am sure it is there or maybe it is called something else or has been moved, whichever it is can someone please tell where I can find this setting?

ps. I sincerely apprecitate thank each person, who takes the time to read and reply to my Post

    Hi,

It’s in LOG & CAPTURE window, on the right you have 3 tabs.
2nd tab is clip settings and in audio section you see a square with 2 circles.
If you press it once – the circles get joined – this represent stereo.
If you click it one more time – the circles get separated – this represents mono.

I hope this was what you were looking for,
