  unlinking rushes audio

  We’re digitising hoodles of rolls for a 15 part series and our edit assistat changed the settings from A1 A2 to stereo. Consequently whenever the we work with the clip in the timeline we’re having to unlink. It’s a real faff! Is it possible to unlink the rushes and be done with the problem???
