  In AVID I could “consolidate media” in FCP I can ?????

  Just a question to all that have made the switch. I could consolidate a sequence in AVID and create shorter media files then what I originally had digitized. What is the procedure in FCP????

  Read the chapter in the manual regarding Media Manager. This is one of its functions.
  FCP 5 manual Volume 4 Page 77 begins the overview of the Media Manager.
