  Syncing FCP 4.5 render with DVD Studio Pro

  I tried to changing the encoding properties in DVD Studio Pro. Now it takes forever to encode the files, whereas before I believe it left the same encoding as FCP and just had to mux them. Does anyone know what the original setting are for the encoder on DVD Studio Pro or perhaps how I can tell what bit rate FCP encodes at so I can set DVD Studio to that?

  Trash your preference file for DVD SP, and it will go back to the default settings. I get really nice results encoding with DVD SP 4 with a CBR setting of 7… but the files are large enough that the most you can put on a 4.7 disk is about 60 minutes.
