  Hey all, here’s a great new product from AJA that combines SD and HD on the same card along with Analog I/O. Really great for you HDV folks who have decks with Component output as you can now capture HD via Component on this product. $1,795 list price.

  Do you know what the major differences are between this new card and the Kona2? I do like the price though.

  Big difference is the Analog I/O on the HL and no Dual Link 4:4:4.

  If you don’t need the Dual Link and don’t need a second SDI Input with all the additional Digital Audio I/O, this is a great SD / HD Card / Box combination that’s really on par with the old CineWave products.
