Have any of you kind folks out there had experience with – and therefore can you recommend an FCP plug-in that will be placed on an image in a scene that has been reduced and then fitted into a TV set. Basically I wish to add lines to an image, as if it was material being viewed on a TV set.

    Thanks in advance.

This tutorial will teach you to modify the v wipe transition and make a 100 band v wipe. Once you have made that v wipe, all you have to do is modify that start and stop positions of the transition to where you like it (say start at 89% and end at 89%) and then you’ll have it.

    Good luck

Thanks guys, in the end I went with Matthew’s Eureka plug-ins.
I am too lazy/in too much of a hurry for the two DIY options suggested – and I couldn’t find Andy’s suggestion that would work with FCP.
    Thanks again.
