I am exporting an OMF file for an audio mix in Pro Tools. What is the best workflow and insurance that I can properly resynch the audio after I get the ProTools file?
Is it simply lining up a 2-pop or is there something else I should be thinking about or that will work better?

    Thank you.

Yes, that’s all you need to do. However, once you import the audio mix into PT, all your levels and keyframes will be gone. The new version of Automatic Duck allows you to bring those levels in intact. It’s nice.

    great, thank you very much.
I also have a ridiculous question: I am searching for a countdown/2-pop I can throw in at the beginning of the timeline…does FCP have a QT of one, or do I need to find my own?
    Thank you…

    Kevin,

I believe there’s a countdown in your install disc, I think it’s in extras.

Why not just put a single frame of tone?
