  How do I convert HDV 60i to 50i ?

  Hi there,

  I have 80 minutes of raw material shot ‘wrongly’ in 60i HD with a Sony HDV camera. My show is all done in HD 50i and edited in FCP.

  Should I convert it before editing?
  Where should I convert it for the best results?

  You can check at Graeme Nattress’s web site to see if his Standards Conversion plugin for FCP also works for HDV. If it does then that’s the way I would go if I needed to convert NTSC to PAL, etc. Your last two questions may also be answered at his site as well.
