  • Exporting FCP 5 timelines and media to OMF: AutoDuck the best way?

Posted by Michael Moser on September 1, 2005 at 3:29 pm

I assume Automatic Duck is still the way to go. Are there any issues regarding Tiger or FCP5 exports of timelines and media?
I am aware that FCP5 can export OMF audio, but general OMF capability still requires Automatic Duck. Is that correct?
Thanks for any advice before I plunk down the cash.

After reading the pre-sales FAQs at Automatic Duck and checking out the AD forum I’ve had these questions answered.
I’m sure I’ll have questions, but it looks like a great program (as many have said).

I use the Duck all the time for both opening FCP XML’s in After Effects and for bringing AVID OMF’s into FCP to online. Outstanding products.
