  FCP5 + FX1

  Gday Guys,

  I have been using ImovieHD for a while and just purchased FCP to get more serious, but when I import my footage it needs to be rendered! ?

  I know this is about what settings you have the camera setup as in FC, but I can not find the correct one…

  Can someone send me in the right direction, I thought it would have been HDV-1080i60

  the important thing is to ensure that your sequence settings match your clip/capture settings

  if you are capturing HDV-1080i60, then make a new sequence (Cmd-N), open the Sequence>Settings…

  I mean does the FX1 shoot in 1080i60 … as I have not changed any settings that way

  yeah, i believe the FX1 shoots 1080i60 (but its your camera, you should be telling me!)
