  composition size/scale

  Ive been working on a ae project for my computer arts class and after I finish the whole project and render it I realize ive been working on a composition that is 1466×1271. its a monster. gigantic file. I was wondering if there was a good way of changing my compostion size along with all of my objects and paths. Its a pretty complicated piece so it would be a pain to do over. Ive tried just rendering it at a smaller size but I lose a lot of quality. any ideas? please

  Hey there-

  Windows: CTRL+Alt+F

  No “command” on a windows keyboard… alas. Dave I know you knew that, but its a mac force of habbit thing, I’m sure.

  I believe it’s called “Fit to Comp” but I’m not sure.

  if the aspect ratios are different, or even if they are the same use H instead of F so you don’t foul up things and distort the image. After seeing a demo of what can happen at a NAB class on AE I never use fit but always use fit horizontally
