  Capture Error: Operation could not be completed as there is no video.

  I am doing a batch capture and the I am getting this error on the last 10 clips, initial 10 clips were ok. Please help.

  restart computer. If still persistent…trash preferences using FCP rescue…the appropriate one for your version of FCP…

  what are you capturing from? what hardware? is this DV coming over Firewire, or maybe a BetaSP deck connected to a Decklink card? or ….

  if your first clips were ok then somethings happened to the signal … try unplugging and replugging your cables, or even switching cables altogether. you need to narrow down the source of the problem … deck, cables, connectors, capture card etc.
