G5 Rackmount Options?
Posted by Taiji Miyagawa on August 16, 2005 at 9:50 pmJobs did not design the G3 for rackmounting, did he? It seems that aside from taking the gut out and remounting the innards, you have to saw the handles off to be able to rackmount them. Anyone here have experience with that?

August 16, 2005 at 10:59 pmYeah, we’re going with the Marathon side-mount option. Does Apple sell buzz saws?

Read my article on High Definition for the Road. I got a brand new hacksaw and cut the handles off one of my G5’s.

March 4, 2008 at 8:24 pmMarathon is now out of biz… which also puts me in a tough spot now….
ive got the VESA adaptor for some cinema displays (20inch). Looking on xsanity i see that UNIT has rackmounted theres…. anybody have any ideas what rackmount would work for these? Havent had much luck looking around. Middle Atlantic seems to max out at 17inch. And with marathon out of biz theres no way they are on top of this.
