  problem with Quick Time Converter

  hello
  I work on FCP 4 and for the first time I have a problem to convert my video with QT. I prepare the conversion as I usually do but it works very slowly and once it’s finished, the window that indicates the time of the conversion stays open… when I interrupt it because there is obviously something wrong, the file that has been created is huge (around 30 Go for a 14 minutes video…) and I can’t open it…
  could someone help me ???

  Why are you converting to QuickTime?

  Is the output of Final Cut Pro for a DVD?

  Is the Quicktime conversion for the web?

  Even for the web a 14 minute video will be large under certain circumstances.
