I like to capture an entire tape, make markers and then use those to create subclips. Why? I can work a lot faster that way than logging the tape and then capturing from that. It’s a technique that we’ve grown to love in my shop. Anywho, when I made the switch to FCP 5, I noticed some strange behavior in the bin interface. When I make so many markers, they don’t show up in the main window interface after 15 or 16 markers. The markers are there. They just don’t show up under the clip in the bin. In the timeline, they are there. Strange problem. I found a workaround, though. If I open the working bin in a seperarate window, I can see all of the markers under the clip.
