    Hi all,

Okay, I think I ‘ve tried everything and I am totally lost. My source material is DV shot 16×9. I loaded the
material in offline resolution (not the anamorphic). No matter what settings I use, I can not seem to find
one that will give me a sequence I can play in real time. The clip properties say that the offline is JPEG
resolution square pixel. I’ve tried making the sequence square pixel to match it, anamorphic on and off
and everything gives me a tiny frame within the canvas that needs to be rendered. I’ve never worked in
the offline format before. What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks, Barbara

Me again. I found a solution but is it a solution or a work around? I made my sequence frame size 320×240
to match the source material. Is there another solution or did I find the only one?
    Thanks again, Barbara

320×240 is the right size. You just need to use the default Offline RT Anamorphic Easy Setup and there will be no need to fiddle around at all with settings.

Thanks John; I didn’t realize it was an easy settings option. Maybe if I had memorized the book cover to cover….
