  some FCP questions

  Re-rendering clips over and over again doesn’t affect the quality, right?
  I have an interlace issue. Does the de-interlace filter affect the quality in other ways?

  Re rendering won’t degrade the clips.

  If you deinterlace, you’ll lose resolution, because you are throwing away 1/2 the image. (one of the two interlaced fields).
