    here is more info….
it crashes during the loading audio filters

a bit of info – I have 4.5 loaded, I have a client that uses 4.0 (and she will not upgrade) So I loaded 4.0 Friday on my laptop – it and 4.5 worked fine. 4.5 still workes fine, I now have the above problem with 4.0. I did not know that you could load two diff. versions – but you can (and other editors have stated that they have as well with no problems)

So… what could be wrong with 4.0? I hope that (above) info will help you to help me

in order to help folks on this forum, it’s most helpful to fill out your profile, especially your entire computer system(s) information. You can view my profile as an example.

I have no advice to give unless I have an understanding of your entire hardware and software setup.

I got mine fixed. There was a conflict with my web cam – I unplugg, it worked. It must have been trying to see it as a deck.
