Is there a away to rename the tracks in FCP? I would like to be able to name the video tracks, and the audio tracks to keep organized for workflow efficiency with multiple editors on ths same project.

    Thanks,
    Anthony Miles

Funny, sure is easy in PPo or, edit and many other apps. How could this be left out of the new and powerful FCP 5?

Vegas is big on naming as well, I find it very handy, and this is something I wish was an option in FCP. Just seems to me FCP is not really centered on doing things on the timeline. Perhaps in FCP 6 we’ll see more things like that, track fx, and being able to drag clips to overlap eachother to make cross fades.
But these kinds of things may constitute a different style of workflow, so I don’t know if they are a priority. I always like to have options though.
