  Finl Cut Pro – external monitor freeze

  Can anyone help ?

  We are editing 8 bit uncompressed, accessing our material from a GRaid box via firewire on a G5. Sometimes for no apparent reason after working fine for sometime the sequence we have edited will not playback on our external monitor. Is this a bug or have we not set the machine up correctly?

  Which capture card is involved… maybe reloading the drivers for it will help…
