  the latest on tiger and fcp 4.5?

  I’ve search the posts on this issue and nothing in the last couple of months so I wanted to hear if anyone’s had experience running FCP 4.5 with OS 10.4.
  I got a great deal on 4.5, so I picked up that. I just bought Tiger, figuring I was eventually going to have to anyway, but after reading some of the older posts it seems like I would have been better off buying 10.3 (panther)on ebay. Wanted to ask about the experience of others before making install.
  Not ready to buy FCP5.
  My powerbook g4 came with OS 9 and 10.2.8 on it, is there a reason to keep them? I know I should wipe the hard drive clean, but should I put them back afterwards? My instincts say no.

  We are running:

  10.4.1
  QT 7 Pro
  FCP 4.5

  It works as smooth as a baby’s butt.
  But!!!! We did do a complete clean install.
  The only way all upgrades should get done!
