    Hi there!

    I`ve experienced some logging anomalies in FCP5 which slows the logging process down in comparison with previous FCP-versions:

    – Hitting F2 does not anymore set both the outpoint and opens the log clip window prompt. It does opens the correct dialog-box but it does not set the oupoint! Before I discovered this I only captured the first frame after the inpoint!

    Have you tried the usual? Dumping prefs etc. I’ve been logging a lot and these commands have been working fine for me. What is your system setup? OS and QT?

    Your prefs are under
    USERS-YOU-LIBRARY-PREFERENCES
    in there you will find a com.apple.finalcutpro.plist You can dump that
    and then a Final Cut Pro User Data folder
    in that folder dump everything that’s not in another folder
    all should be prefs and caches.
