  New User Can’t render an uncompressed QT movie in Express HELP!!!

  I am new to Final Cut. I have clips of uncompressed QT animations (my promo samples)
  I cannot find a way to render these in the timeline so I can create my Promo Reel (on DVD).
  All I am able to do is render compressed FC movies which look really bad.

  My plan is to render the 2 minute sequence out as an uncompressed QT movie then create a
  DVD from that for the best quality.

  All/Any help would be great.

  Found the “using QT conversion”
  Thought that was just for streaming.
  I think it could of been labeled a little better!

  Yeah. Nobody cares what the engine is that is used for conversion to different formats. It should basically say export reference movie or “other.”
