I cannot for the life of me export Uncompressed video without whites clipping at 100 IRE. I have to deliver some exported media to an Avid editor who will be doing the color grading and does not want anything clipped. He wants the original camera color space which goes up to 110.

The source footage is native DV and DV50 media. Getting superwhite on the sequence works fine, but exporting the media to any Uncompressed format (using either Apple or Blackmagic, 8-bit or 10-bit), it clips eveyrthing to 100. With Final Cut 4.5 and QT 6, I was able to do this. But now with version 5 and QT7, none of these methods work.

    1. Use the “recompress” option in Media Manager and select a sequence preset that uses super-white.
    2. Export using Quicktime Conversion. Before, this process did not alter the color space.
    3. Open up the media in QT Pro and export it. Just like above, it used to not affect the color space.

    Can anybody offer suggestions?
