    Hi All,

I am working on a progressive HD project that will be put to broadcast (standard definition) as it’s final output.

In After effects I have completed all effects and text anims and rendered it out to be put back into Final Cut. My render settings were no fields, 59.97fps, best quality and animation compression. Came out to a 3.7GB file for 30sec which seems right to me.

However, now my text looks like it’s “in between” fields once I re-render in Final Cut… It’s not vibrating as though I had a wrong field setting, just kinda blurry. In the past I would have fixed this by setting my render settings to lower field first. Unfortunately in this instance, it doesn’t make a difference – upper or lower. I have tried shifting fields in FCP and turned on the lower field in the clip settings but to no avail.

The footage itself looks fine, it’s just the text.

Has anyone else had this issue?

    Any ideas?

    Thanks
