Video unrendered when adding Audio filter
I have encountered a strange problem. I dragged a sequence (A) into a new sequence (B), creating a nested clip (C) in the new timeline. Then I added a video effect to the whole clip (C) and rendered that.
The next day, I opened the original sequence (A) and added an audio filter to some audio clips. When I looked at the nested clip (C) in the other timeline (B), the rendered video over the audio where I added an audio filter had become unrendered.
Question 1:
I thought that when I create a nested sequence in this way, the new timeline is not linked to the original. But it seems it is. Is this correct and can it be avoided somehow?
Question 2:
Why on earth would the video become unrendered when I add an audio filter? Especially since the audio I added the filter to was not linked to any video (it was and has always been audio only clips). If the whole nested clip had become unrendered, I might have understood this. But now it only marks those spots where the audio has been changed. If it can keep track of exactly where I have added an audio filter, it shouldn’t be so hard to note that it is only audio and not video that has been changed. This is not a critical problem for me, but I am curious to know if anyone understands this.
