  Can I export a movie to windows media player?

  Hi,
  I tried to let some friends see a movie that I that I exported from FCP3, but it was in Quicktime 7, and now they can’t see it. Is there a way I can change the movie to a Windows media format? Maybe I have to get another codec somewhere? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

  Flip4Mac supports Quicktime 7. Fixing bugs with Tiger though. It’ll work in FCP, FCE, iMovie, QuictimePro. The exporter also comes with the player which, depending on the version you get, play WMV files in Quicktime and for the Pro version, allows you to import WMV directly into FCP for editing.
