Ran into a problem batching clips generated from an OMF2 file (from an Avid MC) and imported via Automatic Duck (Pro Import). I imported both an embedded and a linked OMF2 (tried them both), but both master clip bins experienced errors when the batch capture commenced. The tape(s) cued-up just fine, but the capture aborted due to a “no video” error. I created new clips with identical ranges, batched those and reconnected them to the corresponding master clips that were erroring out. Anyone else experience this error while onlining from an Automatic Duck import? I’m working in 10-bit, uncompressed FCP HD 4.5 with an Aja Io box on a G5 tower (panther 10.3.9). Thanks.

Yes, I really am this stupid. Didn’t realize that the master clips defaulted to just a V1 range without an audio channel to sync to. Darn MOS transfer masters!
