  Another clip using existing filename?

  What’s going on with Final Cut today. I’ve got a locked DV rough cut. I use Media Manager to create an offline project at 10 bit uncompressed. I switch my media drive over to the RAID. When I go to Batch Capture, I get the dialog that clip X is trying to use the same media file name as clip Y…. but I’m going through the bin, there ARE no duplicate filenames – Media Manager has renamed all my clips for comforming.

  Worse, if I select only 1 file to Batch, it still tells me there’s a duplicate filename….. Then I tell it to SKIP that file, and it will digitize without any problems.

  I’ve done this before, and it’s worked flawlessly. am I going mad?
