When doing an edit to tape from FCP from a 24p timeline, does FCP automatically add the pulldown back in, or do you have to go through cinema tools? Is it possible to take 24pA footage, do the 2:3:3:2 pulldown removal, edit in 23.98, and then when outputing to tape use a 2:3 rather than a 2:3:3:2? I think the standard pulldown looks smoother than the advanced, plus I will be mastering on digibeta rather than going back to DV (which I think is the only way to do the Advance pulldown). The reason that I am even removing the advanced pulldown, is because I would like to make a 24p DVD too.

No rush, I am a long way from this step, but better to be prepaired. Thanks.
