  Media 100i XR P6000 system key. To load what version ?

  Media 100 P6000 serials -system keys

  Good afternoon!

  I have Apple Mac Power PC G4 M8570 MDD 1,25 (New install and update Tiger Server to OSX 10.4.11 , QT 7.5) and 3 PCI cards Media 100 P6000 + J6000 boxes.

  1. I have: P6000 s/n 00827695 , M100 i XR 8.2.3 system key: digital twentymarking without letters !

  I download a version from an official web-site
  – Legacy Media 100 Downloads: Media 100 i Version 8.2.3a
  but got a report:
  “You have not entered the proper System Key for the Mac product. Please re-enter the proper System Key received with your latest version of software.”
  “Serial #: 827695 (P6000 lossless capable)”

  I entered also free 14-day Trial Install Code: M1S1ES-296Q5D3-3B8A7
  but letters are not entered, – numbers are needed only !
  Is it a not that version ?
  Must I load other version of the program ? For example: Older Media 100 Downloads (Hardware-Based Systems) Version 13.0.5 ?
  Why does not the key work ?
  Is loading what version needed for valuable work my hardware P6000 + J6000 ?

  If you have the encryption key for V8.2.x for this board (the encryption keys are tied to a board serial number and to a software version), then it should work. The trial code is only for the newer software versions; V8.2.3a is the latest one that work with the P6000 board. If you have a code for your board that does not work with the V8.2.3a software, you should get in touch with Media 100 support.
