Kona 3 Y/C output from Media100 DV timeline
We cannot get our Kona3 (v10.3) to output stable Y/C from a Media100HD(v2.1.2) 4:3 DV timeline.
AJA TV plays and converts the clip fine.
When Media100HD launches, the y/c output scrambles. We see the correct colors, but the images are broken up by horizontal lines and is even a stable mess.
Media100HD will correctly output a 16:9 DV file, but not 4:3
Media100HD will correctly downconvert any HD to SD Y/C.
What is going on here?
Does anyone else have a Kona3 and a y/c breakout cable and monitor to test this?
I have been working with media100 since version 2 so I’m pretty sure I’ve got all the media settings and preferences set correctly. I used to have an LHe that I did this with, but now I’m working with the Kona3 and it won’t work. It should work??
Any feedback from a similar configuration would be helpful.

I will try to check it with our Kona3 this evening. Your timeline is SD4:3, PAL or NTSC? And you want to output a Y/C SD signal, right?

sorry for the delay.
I have the latest beta version of the next release installed on our Kona3 system, and with this software version Y/C output works as expected. Just tested with a 525i 4:3 29.97 timeline. I will try to downgrade to the current release version to see if it works differently, but unfortunately I still did not find the time to do so.
