media 100 ixr v8.2.3 on mac g4 osx10.4.11
I know my system is outdated but it’s all i have until next week and i have to finish a major project.
all of a sudden when i launce media 100, a green screen appears and when i import footage and try to play it back it plays audio fine but not video only green screen.
i noticed that when i import files, media 100 changes the name as well.
if anyone out there has a resolve (other than chucking my system before next week) please help!

It’s been a while for me with V8 but it sounds like a codec problem, do the files play in the quicktime player? What import settings are you using?

Does all of your video show only a green screen? Does the video show up correctly in the viewer window on the computer screen? Have you checked your cables? Did you run the P6000 hardware test?

Yes files play in quicktime player. I did run the diagnostic test and my card failed!
After rebooting everything worked fine for a while. I managed to get thru my l projects with only periodic green screens!
