  Old footage in Beta Sp in a HD project

  I will use a large amount of old footage – originated from 16mm newsreels (1930s and 1940s) – in a documentary. The project is in DVCProHD and the final master will be in HDCAM. What’s the best workflow to blow up that footage? I can’t ask for a new telecinema copy of that footage (it is very difficult to obtain and almost missing). Will I use AE, or FCP, or my Kona 2? Thanks.
