  Importing and linking an edl

  I’m working on M100 version 12.5.1. I want to view and digitize most of the material on 20 or so XD disks before editing, but I also have a rough assembly edl, made on Sony’s PDZ-1 software as a starting point. How do I go about linking this edl to my digitized media. I could just import the edl and batch acquire, but then I wouldn’t have all the material to work with. Can anyone help? Thanks.
