August 6, 2007 at 3:29 amI just worked it out!
I have to have the actual codec, don’t I!
It has to be installed in my QT folder and because it comes with FCS2, I will have to buy the upgrade version to get the codec!David Issko

Scott_f Media 100
August 6, 2007 at 2:06 pmHi David,
Just like the DVCProHD codec, the Apple ProRez codec as well as the CineFormHD are not installed by Media 100. These 3rd party codecs must be installed in order to have support for them within Media 100. This codec is a processor intensive codec so make sure to pay close attention to the note on the Media 100 download page. -

August 6, 2007 at 10:41 pmHi Scott,
Thanks very much for your response. I worked it out with my M100 supplier, Floh (Genius) Peters also lent a kind hand and you finalised any doubts.
I have ordered my FCS2 upgrade from my Apple supplier, will pick it up tomorrow and I will report back (in a new post) as to how well my Dual 3Ghz 8 core Intel beast handles PR 422.
Thanks guys.
