  Media 100 HDe / San Solution

  Hello,
  Thank you for taking the time to view this post and help out with your wisdom, knowledge, and experience regarding this matter.

  Currently:
  I am using:
  -(MAC)4 X 2.5 GHz PowerPC G5, with 4GB DDR2 SDRAM
  -(RORKE DATA) Qubex 3TB drive
  -(MEDIA 100) HDe
  -Fiber Channel (between G5 atto card / Qubex drive)

  GOAL:
  I want to create a SAN SOLUTION:
  -Increase Drive Space (video storage)
  -Clone the Media 100 capabilities to other MACs (2)
  -Continue to edit in Media 100 HD uncompressed 10bit with minimal time lost in transfering video files

  —-
  In addition, I am filming with Green Screen, and using the “keyer” option in M100 to eliminate green screen and import slides as jpegs.
  I would like to have the ability to film and composite together, then digitize into M100, for output to “flash streaming”. What are the options here, as well?
