I have a few comps that I need to render out as a FLV’s.
Is there a way I could add all of the comps to the Render Queue and batch them out as FLV’s?

Basically I need help changing the file export settings for the Render Queue.

I’m using AE 7 if that helps.

    Thanks the help,
    Brent

Well it looks like AE really doesn’t include the option to create FLV’s in th Render Queue. So with some research it looks like my best option is to use QuickTime clips rendered out from the queue and then import them into the Flash Standalone FLV encoder or Sorenson Squeeze. Then use these tools to batch the QT files to render out as FLV’s.

Here is a link that helped me out: https://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx?14@@.3bbfcb54/0

If anyone else has some tips with making this work flow more streamline I’m all ears.

Also I think one of the reasons why this workflow might take more steps then most is because the FLV’s has to have the alpha.

    Thanks,
    Brent

You might consider looking at the On2 Technologies flash exporter for AE.

I’ve been using it and does a pretty nice job.
You still will not be able to use the render queue, since you’ll export your sequence using file\export, but you’d be able to skip an intermediary step of rendering out QT’s just to turn around and encode them to flash.
You might download the demo and do comparisions between it and your sorenson workflow.
