Is there anyway (other than taking a screen shot) to get a printed list of marker point timecodes and their Descrptions from Media100i XR v 8.2.1?

    Hi John,

Assuming that the markers are chapter points (or can be made to be chapter points temporarily for the sake of this exercise) you can use the export to text function in Quicktime Player to get a text file of the timecodes and descriptions.

Export the file by reference (turn off the audio to save time) with chapter points enabled – open the resulting file in QT player. Open the “movie properties” window and engage the chapter track. Export from the file menu with the settings set to “Text to Text”. The resulting file can be opened in simpletext for printing or editing.

I use this method for retrieving chapter points to import into DVDSP when I haven’t encoded them into the original m2v file.

There’s probably a much easier method for doing what you want though!
