  Quicktime handler error

  anyone know a work around for “After Effects error: opening file “%s”. sound channel – can’t open Quicktime handler (-2004).

  Open up your utilities folder and open up Audio MIDI setup. Check that your Audio Output settings are 44100.0 Hz on Line out and Digital Out. When I did my firmware update on my MacPro it changed these settings. That should sort out your problem.
