Does anyone have a useable photoshop file of a lower third background that CNN uses that you would be willing to share with me? I’m in need of using this on a project I’m just finishing up. I’m just not Photoshop savvy. I believe it spreads across lower third of the screen
with a blue gray top and a white/gray bottom. The top is larger for the name, and the bottom is thinner for the person’s title or location. Thanks.

Have you considered taping CNN and digitizing a clip so you could import a freeze frame into photoshop and try to copy the elements you like?

Might be “slightly” easier if someone had a pre-built one for me.
Thanks so much for your help…

Not pre built but, try making a blue rectangle 786 x 60 (R14G86B157)
    70% opacity.

    Then a white rectangle 786 x 30 (R235G235B235) 100% opacity.

Put the blue one over the white one with the bottom of the white settling a little below title safe.

    Good luck.
