  Can’t find file

  With the Media 100, when I try to save a file after having the program runs overnight and start to work the next day, it tells me that it can’t find the file and the only thing I can do is to shut down the program and restart it. I’m running a dual 867 OS 10.3.9, Media 100 version 8.2.2.

  This is a problem that Apple introduced. A new behavior of Mac OSX is that it sometimes throws away your “temporary items” folder after it hasn’t been used for a while. Unfortunately the application locates that folder when it launches and assumes it will remain. Short of a patch to the application, I think the only answer is to not do that.
