  MEDIA100HD Serial Video Setup problem

  How is everyone dealing with the fact that the Media100HD puts setup (7.5black) during digitizing of SDI and HD material. There should be NO setup in serial digital video processing.

  Even if you simply place a black clip on the timeline.. it will show up on your SDI scope with 7.5 setup.. What’s up with this… and how do we deal with it???

  I am outputting my HD material through Blackmagic 10bit to my post house and they are havingto color correct the black level back down… And this is not a pretty way to do this …

  Anyone else experiencing this problem… HELP!!!

  Thanks for the response…. But still not the answer…

  This problem and I do see it with the MEDIA100HD system..is that why is the standard SDI output of the Media 100 HD 7.5 black rather than 0.

  Serial Digital has no setup…

  Anyone?? HELP!!
